"My book is not about the history of Sangh in Assam. It is simply an effort  to provide a written account of different programmes organised by the Sangh gained through my experiences, the relationships and a few memorable events that occured during my tenure as a pracharak of the Sangh. Moreover, my objective is to briefly describe the progressive journey of the Sangh in this region despite the aggressions carried out by countries with which the people in Assam had a direct connection. The movement for making Assamese the official Language of Assam and illegal migration from Bangladesh.

Compared to the last sixty years, a huge transformation has occurred in Assam and India's social and political scenario. Today, the Sangh's activities have expanded in most sectors. One must realise that the Sangh is transforming itself by initiating changes in the structure of daily shakh's, programmes, and methods without compromising its fundamental ideology."
