"Imagine the summer of 2047. India is celebrating the centenary of its independence. The tricolor flies proudly, bullet trains streak across the plains, and satellites weave a seamless digital canopy above. Yet, piercing through the heart of these festivities, the shrill wail of a siren echoes. An ambulance races toward the nearest hospital, carrying a forty-five-year-old father who has just suffered a silent heart attack on his living room couch while watching the flag-hoisting ceremony.
As the ambulance speeds past glowing billboards of a Viksit Bharat (Developed India), the stark reality of an ailing nation inside that vehicle becomes unbearably loud. We may have engineered world-class expressways and smart cities, but we have left our most vital infrastructure—the human body—struggling to survive. This exact scene is the image I want to eradicate from our nation's future and it is the core reason I wrote this book.
Fitness and India @ 2047 is not just another compilation of gym workouts or diet charts. It is a comprehensive blueprint—part policy manifesto, part personal journal. It outlines exactly how a nation of 1.46 billion people can choose daily discipline over chronic lifestyle diseases, ultimately forging the strongest, healthiest and most productive generation in its history by the year 2047."
