An interior designer by profession, is a passionate environmentalist. She has taken many initiatives like creating vertical gardens with waste plastic bottles, Panchvati plantations and micro forests and is known as the Green Woman.
She has spearheaded the movement of seed balls and has conducted more than 300 workshops to teach school children, industrial houses, women-organisations, various NGOS and religious institutions.
Living in a sustainable fashion and saving the environment are some of her passions. Writing is one of her interests and her area of focus is sustainable environment, inculcating green-habits amongst children and green buildings.
Rohit Mehra, (IRS) is a distinguished officer of the 2004 batch, seamlessly combining his role as a public servant with an exceptional dedication to environmental conservation. Widely recognised as the "Green-Man of India," Rohit's illustrious career is marked by his relentless pursuit of sustainable practices and innovative reforestation initiatives. He is also known as the Vertical-Garden man of India who has successfully created close to 750 green-walls with waste plastic bottles.
In addition to his literary contributions, Rohit is a sought-after speaker on self-development and environmental issues. His insights have earned him a place on the TED stage, where he has shared his vision for a sustainable future. The National Geographic Channel has also recognised his impactful work, dedicating an episode to showcase his pioneering efforts in the realm of environmental conservation.
