"Lord Krishna is one of the most revered and beloved deities in the lineage of the incarnations (the eight avatar) of Lord Vishnu. Symbolising love, compassion, and divine joy, he is a multifaceted deity who guides humanity through wisdom, duty, and devotion.
In the Bhagavad Gita, he guides Arjuna out of despondency through understanding about one's moral duty and spiritual revelation of the Universal Form or 'Viratrupa'. Very succinctly he explains the purpose of life, grounded in a philosophy of selfless action, duty, knowledge, and devotion. Human life's purpose is to gain Spiritual Knowledge or Atma Gyan and realise one's true eternal nature, rather than identifying with the temporary physical body.
In Chapter 4, Verse 34, He explains that one must approach a Realised Soul with submission and serve them to realise the ultimate truth. In short, Lord Krishna sums up that all other goals, ideals and duties are subordinate to achieving the prime duty of Self-Realisation in human life!"
