Description

Indian weddings are known for their celebration of tradition, rituals and ceremonies. The book with its distinctive narrative style outlines, compiles, streamlines and simplifies the explanation of rituals and their significance in a memorable way to turn the wedding into an unforgettable event for you, your family and your guests.
The book with its well written reader friendly step by step planning guide, is detailing every aspect of wedding from selecting a hall to a mehndi design. In addition, the readers will find a special section on Parotna, the hindi word for assimilation of the new bride/groom into the family fold. There is even a practical section on Jewellery, registration of marriage and other events.
This book effectively translates old traditions into modern day in a chronological order, all the while taking a refreshingly scathing look at the ostentatiousness of Indian weddings.
The usefulness and immense practicality of the book becomes self evident as the wedding moves forward and culminates into a memorable saga for all.
